Personality: Biggy's personality can be difficult to ascertain. In many situations, he is paranoid, manipulative, uncaring, and has a tendency to throw morals to the wayside. Despite this, he holds deep commitments to those he cares for, and is often willing to go to wild lengths to aid them in any way he can. His attitude is diligent and unrelenting, so if he wants something, he will attain it.

In The Story

Origins: Biggy was born in the far-flung world of Gealdorgeard, and grew up exploring its fantastical lands with his sister, as well as training under the soul magicians known as the Vivus Corps. An incident later forced Biggy to leave behind his sister at the hands of violent creatures, and embedding the fabric of time and space within his soul. From this, he entered the Rip Portal Hub and studied under the vigilant eye of satinreteA, before eventually leaving to become an explorer.

Prior Tales: Biggy's adventures ended when he arrived on Earth in 2004, coming across the small town of Holzberg and many people he would consider his friends, including Shadow, Micah, and Midnight. During this time, he began scientific ventures with Dirk Owens, and the two founded Bigsco. Biggy also took an interest in cloning, and from this, yggiB and the rest of the Biggy Clones were spawned. yggiB would later go on to swear vengeance against Biggy, and the two fought for some time before larger threats emerged by the name of BigGlitch. Biggy rounded up Midnight, Shadow, Micah, and some of his clones to defeat him on three separate occasions. After this, Biggy focused much of his time working at Bigsco, exponentially building it into the world's most powerful megacorporation, and having influence all over the world. Everyone wants a shot at the top, however, and Biggy was eventually attacked and defeated by Alexander and Anchor, and he has since exiled himself from Earth.

Current Situation: Having taken time to track down a missing Biggy Clone and do some other minor adventuring, Biggy stands aimless. He has realized that while he wanted to do good with Bigsco, his vision had been corrupted over time. Standing between his former mentor, trapped in his old ways, and a group of people determined to bring change to it all, Biggy must decide what his new vision entails, and chase that instead. No more running.

Abilities

Soul Magic: soul magic is not particularly hard to come across, mostly due to its versatility and potential impact. Biggy is a generalist at soul magic, and a practiced one at that.

Soul Detection: View the Direct and Indirect Characteristics of the target's soul
Soul Tattle: View the emotional state, and often train of thought, of the target.
Soul Block: Block the target soul's use of a particular ability. The caster must be able to understand the ability they are blocking well enough to prevent the actions needed to cast it.
Soul Operate: Manipulate the soul directly. Often used for removal or "purification" of Indirect Characteristics. How Biggy is able to create his clones.

Time-Touched: Having absorbed a tear in the fabric of timespace into his soul, Biggy is able to affect time in a space nearby him, which he often uses for combat or for work.

Using Soul Operate, Biggy can harvest energy from nearby souls, which he can then convert into a "false mass," bending the time-space continuum and slowing time in an area around him. He can also use his own energy to achieve this.
Biggy cannot use this ability to speed up time or travel through it, although he can observe movement through time as an extra sense as if he were a fourth-dimensional entity.

Science & Engineering: Biggy adapted his knack for understanding magic to the sciences as well, allowing him to create things straight out of science fiction.

Proficiency: In operating and comprehending science-related equipment, understanding highly-engineered objects, and reverse-engineering and repair.
Science: Allows Biggy to effectively do research to understand and solve a problem.
Engineering: Allows him to create designs for weapons, tools, objects, and machinery. Provided the materials, he can also build them.

High Intelligence: While it takes many forms, Biggy is quite book smart, though he also uses this intelligence as intuition.

Biggy thinks quickly on his feet. It is difficult to knock him off-balance in a battle of wits.
He displays effective use of deductive and inductive reasoning, as well as intuition.
Biggy often plans heavily, although he still somewhat relies on improvisation to executve these plans.

Fun Facts:

Biggy is the first character I ever designed, though initially he acted as a self-insert before I transitioned.
Back when the lore was based within Minecraft, Biggy's abilities were references to Wynncraft's mage class.
Biggy is the webmaster's online pseudonym, which is a contraction of an older username.
Bigsco, though never referred to as such in the lore, bears Biggy's name, literally 'Biggy's Company.' This name is a reference to SipsCo, from the Yogscast Tekkit series.
Biggy is one of a few characters for which I have an (admittedly basic) cosplay!

Writer's Writ: Originally, Biggy was developed out of a reaction to ultra-powerful OCs. How could a character be effective without strength, stealth, or for the most part, incredible powers? This was my mind at eleven when I was...a little stupid. In this manner, Biggy became an Iron-Man like character with nearly infinite resources and a solution to every problem, but he needed to rely on others to enact those solutions. That latter idea stuck around, and became the foundation for Biggy's modern character as CEO of Bigsco...and how he slowly stopped relying on others but didn't change his mindset, causing him to stagnate.
