Personality: Melancholic is a term best used for Autumn. There are few others in the world who have so completely reserved themselves to sadness, but then again, he was always quite shy. Despite it, or maybe rather because of it all, he'll always have a shoulder for you to cry on. Just expect him to start crying, too.

In The Story

Origins: Biggy's childhood held adventure, until his traveling partner and sister was struck by a magical beast known as the Autumn Spirit, and cursed her with part of its soul. Later, working on the Biggy Clone Project, Biggy excised the Autumn Spirit from his sister's soul, now dormant within him. After his creation, Autumn became fast friends with Nebula, but struggled with finding a calling, though became interested in plants...or at least the ones he could keep alive.

Prior Tales: In 2014, after the Big Legion had fallen apart, Autumn retreated far. Without Nebula, or anyone else alongside him, he fell into a deep depression. Wandering wherever he could across the globe, his haunting presence became the basis of strange tales including his ghostly figure. Eventually, word reached the halls of Bigsco, and Biggy granted Autumn a small piece of land in rural Iowa to put his gardening expertise to good use.

Current Situation: Autumn has become effectively inert over the past twenty years. Stuck in the same old routine of plants, animals, and anything that he can keep alive for long enough to give him some comfort, he knows that he needs a change. Well, word spreads quick to small towns, especially to ghost hunters. And it just so happens that someone out there wants some answers.

Abilities

Fallbringer: Autumn affects the world around him naturally, causing disruptions in seasonality. While he has no way to prevent it entirely, it intensifies alongside his mood.

• In the space around Autumn, usually to the horizon, cold winds blow, plants change color, and a heavy fog sets upon the land.
• Autumn primarily uses the fog to his advantage, typically for hiding...though his eyes, like searchlights, pierce through it.

Spiritbound: Like his predecessor, Autumn possesses abiltiies typically associated with semi-corporeal beings.

• Autumn's eyes are milky white, and glow brightly. They pierce through fog and the night like the lighthouse of a rocky harbor.
• As his body only exists partially on the physical plane, Autumn's soul, and therefore WILLPOWER, will continue to exist even if he is physically harmed. His blood resembles ectoplasm, and similarly exists on two planes.
• Autumn can slightly shapeshift, though nothing complete. Most often he uses this to shape his hands into claws for cutting weeds.

Miscellaneous Notes

Fun Facts:

• Back in the old days, when the lore was in Minecraft, Autumn was heavily based on the myth of Herobrine. He still shares many of the same traits, though his character and design have changed quite a bit since then.
• Autumn and Nebula are close friends, paralelling a similar relationship with the beings that they were created from.
• Autumn shares my home; the American Midwest. He's always given off a Midwest Emo vibe. That, and seeing headlights peek over cornfields at night.
• Despite his love for botany, Autumn can't exist around many plants for an extended period of time, or he'll risk killing them from the cold.

Writer's Writ: Autumn has been a lot of different things over the years. Once, a standing reference to Herobrine and an ancient Minecraft machinima series, has now evolved into something else. While he's always destined to be a background or side character, used to move the plot forward rather than to be the center of it, his purpose is now clearly defined. He's an oracle of misery, the one you go to in crisis, who points you the direction away from it.
